Chicken on a Farm
On a holiday with Winnie’s good friend, the painter took a close up photograph of a chicken on the llarma farm during their countryside walk. The original painting was later displayed at St Stephen Walbrook’s “Truth and Light” art exhibition.
“The hen symbolises ideal maternal love and Christian love: she is self-sacrificing, nurturing, protective, and comforting. The chicks, who like human youngsters are precious though inclined to be errant, symbolise the Israelites as Jesus is portrayed as having viewed them with respect to his mission.”
This giclée print is available in A3 size, on Hahnemuhle German Etching paper of 310 gsm weight and 0.5 mm thickness. Matt finish.
